Each month, library staff offer free tech classes on a variety of subjects including email, internet, mobile devices, Microsoft Word, resumes, shopping online, cyber safety, and more. Visit our Eventbrite page to see what's coming up! 

  Tech Monday

Tech Monday

Come into Nowra Library on the first Monday of every month between 10:30am-2:30pm to get tech help with your device, including smartphones, tablets and computers. Sessions are around 10-15 minutes and are on a drop-in basis.

Hour-long one-on-one training sessions with library staff are available on request. Sessions can include introductory or advanced internet and technology training covering email, tablets, social media and more. Contact Nowra Library on 4429 3705 for more information or to make a booking. Please note fees apply ($30/hr) for one-on-one tutorials.

Shoalhaven Community College

Shoalhaven Community College offers FREE Tech Savvy Seniors classes, including Introduction to Computers, Introduction to iPads and iPhones, Introduction to Android Tablets and Smartphones. Limited places so book early.

They also offer drop-in computer help sessions called Silver Fox Computer Help. These sessions are a place for seniors to get help with computer software, programs, phone, tablet or other devices.  There is a small fee. Visit the Kiama and Shoalhaven Community Colleges website to book your place.
