Shoalhaven Libraries provide services and resources to support our multicultural community.

Multicultural Bulk Loans

Through the State Library of NSW, we are able to loan a box of books in one of 43 different community languages. You can request a total of 10, 20, or 30 books per box for a period of 3 or 6 months.

Books are available in Adult and Junior in a variety of genres and subjects. This is a FREE service.

Please Note: 

Due to overwhelming demand, the State Library of NSW have a shortage of children's picture and board books in various languages. To reduce wait times and to ensure that the collection is distributed as fairly as possible across NSW, orders for 20 to 30 items might receive 50% of the quantity requested until stock levels improve.

The State Library of NSW provides a digital training program designed to help seniors get connected. The videos are available in Hindi, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin and English.
