Every year an Australian picture book is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, preschools, childcare centres and bookshops around Australia. The aim of this annual event is to promote reading and literacy through the fun and enjoyment of books!
The official book for this year's event is The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and Danny Snell, a story about cats and humans, and homes lost and found.
Please join us at on Wednesday, 21st May 2025 at 12pm for a special reading and Reader's Theatre performance!
