Exciting news! Birdwatching Kits are arriving soon at Shoalhaven Libraries!

If you’ve ever wanted to try birdwatching (or just get outdoors a bit more), these kits will make it easy and fun to get started. Perfect for all ages, they’re a great way to explore the incredible birdlife right here in the Shoalhaven. 

What are the kits all about?

The Shoalhaven is home to an amazing variety of birds. Some you might see every day, and others you might not even realise are nearby.

With these kits, you’ll be able to:

• Learn about local bird species
• Try birdwatching for the first time
• Get the kids outside and engaged with nature
• Record your sightings and take part in citizen science, like the Aussie Bird Count!
